The doves pictured are about fifty miles from home. They circle several times for exercise and to get their bearings. Then they fly home to be with their friends in the lofts.
White Doves begin their training at three months of age. They have to practice often to perform well and stay in condition. All our birds complete one to three training flights each week. Distances increase based on experience and condition of the bird. We drive hundreds of miles each month to conduct training.
